How do I pay for my reservation?
When you make a reservation via the Internet, you will be advised of the payment conditions that apply. A credit card is required for all reservations made via Trust Voyager and iHotelier. For your protection, the reservation process is handled on a secured server that encrypts your credit card information. We accept these major credit cards; Visa, Amex Card, Diners, Master Card and JCB.

Why do Internet rates only apply at certain times of the year?
You can book The Sentosa year-round via the Internet, often at promotional rates. During periods of high demand such as Christmas and New Year, such promotional rates may not be valid.

What are the Room Rates?

What are the check in and check out times?
The check in time is 02:00pm (afternoon) and the check out time is 12:00pm (mid-day). We will of course do our best to have a room available for you whenever you arrive. However, this can never be guaranteed and is dependent on the occupancy level the night before. If you are planning to arrive early then you may wish to book your room from the night before. If you are departing late, special rates are available for late check out.

Do you charge for cancellations?
The cancellation policy varies according to the time of year. In the high season, we apply a stricter policy than during the low season. The general cancellation policy is that failure to cancel your reservation 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date will result in an automatic charge equivalent to one night’s stay at The Sentosa. However, full details will be advised to you at the time of reservation.

How do I cancel my reservation?
If you have previously made an on-line reservation you may view or cancel your reservation using the view or cancel reservation form. You will need to go to the reservation page and then go to the On-line Reservations. Then follow the instructions. Click here to begin.
If you experience any problems, please e-mail us on rsvn@thesentosa.com. Failure to cancel your reservation 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date will result in an automatic charge equivalent to one night’s stay at The Sentosa .

How many additional beds can you have in one room?
Most rooms can accommodate only one additional bed.

Can my children stay in the room for free?
One child, 12 years or under, who is sharing the bed with the parents, is eligible to stay in your room free of charge. Request for additional bed will be chargeable. Please mention this request at the time of reservation.

When is a good time to visit Singapore?
Singapore is a year-round destination with little change of temperature. However, as Singapore is a tropical country, at certain times of the year there is a heavier rainfall than at others.

What is the currency in Singapore?
The currency in Singapore is Singapore Dollars. There are currency exchange facilities at The Sentosa. The value of the Singapore Dollar against any currency can be viewed using our Currency Exchange at the hotel. It is recommended that you check the applicable rate of exchange at the time of reservation.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
When you reserve your hotel room, you can also arrange for a hotel limousine to collect you. After a long flight, it is wonderful not to have to worry about finding a taxi. Please click here for Limousine Rates.
Alternatively, you can take one of the metered taxis that are available. Taxi fare is approximately S$25 from the airport.

What voltage do you use in Singapore?
The voltage in Singapore is 220/240 volts, 50 cycles AC. If you are coming form America then you will need to use a transformer to operate certain electrical appliances.

Is it possible to purchase orchids and take them on my flight?
Cut orchids can be taken into most countries. Orchids, packed in special carrying boxes for the flight, are the best way to transport these delicate flowers. Please ask the hotel for best places to buy Orchids.
